I spend a lot of time using products — as a consumer, as a PM, and sometimes just as someone who can't stop noticing when something feels off. This series is my excuse to put that habit to use.
Each entry picks a company I actually use or care about, and walks through their product with a PM lens: what's working, what's broken, what I'd prioritize, and what I'd ship next. No inside access — just public products, honest takes, and structured thinking.
The goal isn't to dunk on anyone. Every product has constraints I can't see. But constraints are also where the interesting problems live.
What each entry covers
- Current product experience — what I'm seeing as a user, with specifics
- Jobs to be done — who the product is for and what they're actually trying to accomplish
- What's working well — things I'd protect and double down on
- Where it breaks down — friction points, gaps, missed opportunities
- What I'd prioritize — if I had a quarter and a small team, where would I focus
